The area was a large grassed public area on a steep incline with no pathways or rest areas for the relatively large num ber of people who worked on the fringes or passed through the area daily.
The area had become overgrown with weeds and unwanted trees and required a complete makeover. The steep slope created a challenge as major earthworks were required to create level areas for public seating and to ensure that he concrete paths matched the surrounding levels.
Undercover Landscapes were entrusted with job of renovating this open space.
The scope of works included ordering, supply and co-ordination of construction, demolition, stump grinding, earthworks, drainage, concrete, sandstone walls, furniture installation, turf, planting and soft works.
Undercover Landscapes continues to work with Willoughby Council utilising its pre-qualifying WH&S Systems becoming a preferred contractor.
